Taco Chicken wings with a guacamole dip are Paleo and delicious . Last year I made these for a trivia night potluck. It was a huge hit. I remember my sister-in-law saying โ You WILL make these for me again!โ
So often people will turn up their noses at a Paleo recipe, so I never mention it. Itโs just yummy food!
I found this recipe at health-bent.com. Got to give credit where it is due.
Taco Chicken Wings and Guac Dip
- 3 Lbs. Chicken Wings
- Fat of Choice (I used coconut oil)
- 2 t. Garlic powder
- 2 t chili powder
- 1 ยฝ t salt
- 1 t smoked paprika (this is a must, donโt skip it)
- 1 t regular paprika
- ยผ t cayenne pepper
Guac
- 2 avocados
- 1lime, juiced
- 1 handful cilantro, chipped
- Chili garlic sauce to taste (or your fave guac seasonings)
- Salt to taste
Mix the spices together. Coat the wings with coconut oil and generously sprinkle with the spice mix (I like my really coated and end up mix up some extra spice mix)
Turn the oven on broil and move the oven rack to the upper part of the oven. ย
Place the wings on a baking sheet. Broil for about 12 mins until crispy. Use a pair of tongs to flip over the wings. Continue to broil until the skin is super crispy.
Guac- Mash all the ingredients together with a fork (potato mashers work great too)
Dip and Enjoy!
