What made you start CrossFit and what has kept you doing it?
I needed a change in my physical fitness as the big box gym I belonged to was not cutting it. I had done CrossFit several years ago and enjoyed it, so I decided to give it another try.
Has your motivation changed since you first started?
My motivation has only intensified since I first started at CFSTC. Seeing how hard everyone else works only makes me want to work even harder.

I have more energy throughout the day even after the hard workouts in the morning
What is your next CrossFit goal and how close are you to reaching it?
My goal coming into the gym as it has been one of mine for a while is to perform an unassisted pull up. A new goal since joining the gym is to successfully perform a rope climb. I still have to master the foot lock to successfully get up the rope, but it is coming along with the help of the coaches.
What’s something we might not know about you?
I won a national championship in rugby in 2017
What advice might you give to someone who is concerning joining CFSTC or is new to the gym?
Give it your full effort for the first 3 months. The workouts are unlike any you would be able to get on your own.
